L’arte è vivere il trascendente, cercare l’anima, la fragilità dei sentimenti, l’amore, tracce, reperti e impronte di un mondo che parte da lontano per poi tornare vicino; il colore, il segno, la gelosia dei segreti, frammenti di memoria, ciò che lega noi stessi a quello che rappresentiamo.

Art is to live the transcendent, seek the soul, the fragility of feelings, love, traces, finds and imprints of a world that began long ago and then go back close. The color, the sign, the jealousy of secrets, fragments of memory, everything that binds ourselves to what we stand for.

Art is life.
I live always the dilemma, the extreme delight and extreme pain;
I feel awe every time the work is done / finished.
to finally discover what the artist has created, not the man.
Because art expresses for itself.

Nel 1960 Pietro Bellani ha iniziato la sua attività di artista, dedicandosi prevalentemente alle arti visive, ha fatto parte del gruppo “Lionello Venturi”.
In questi primi anni sessanta si è dedicato alla ricerca sperimentale nell’ambito della fotografia e del cinema di animazione progettando film a passo ridotto. Nel 1963 ha allestito scenografie per lavori teatrali.
E’ stato socio della Promotrice di Belle Arti di Torino, del centro studi scambi culturali internazionali di Roma, è stato fondatore del gruppo ArteGrottesca sorto a Pisa-Milano nel 1964.
